So much time to look forward to I can't see beyond the present.

There've been a lot of changes happening right now. I'm trying hard to figure out how to control anxiety in better ways.

We Make It Look So Easy

My final piece for studio. Really been obsessing over photo lately; it's been good for me, I think. This summer there are plans in the works for underwater pictures to actually happen, as well as more summer fun which will have to be documented.

A few weeks ago I went with some buds over to the abandoned airforce base in Rantoul, IL and took some photos. They're getting processed currently, and the rolls I took on Wallo's 35mm Holga just need to be scanned. I'll post them once I get them in.

You are not a lazy person, that is what surprises me about this.

Been shlumping around the last month. Watching an absurd amount (or maybe not-so-absurd) amount of Six Feet Under. Been obsessing over death and photography.

I just started a painting of me as a kid, seems I'm going back to try and find out what the present is supposed to be/feel like.

Something that I need to really be learn after this semester is to love and cherish personal failures, to look at them in the face and understand that they challenge and breed wisdom.

Yeah, it looks just like it.

It's tuition award portfolio time at uiuc. I'm turning in half photographs and half paintings/videos. Here are a few pieces I haven't posted here yet:

Reconsider your options.

My website is going to go under a major redesign in the next week or so where I'll be displaying leagues and leagues of work I haven't posted online from the last three years I've been at school. Not only will it include drawings and paintings that I've done, but also video, illustration, design, posters, and photography. I hope to also have my resume posted online by then but I still have some time for that.

The reason for this spontaneous revamp of the site is to make it easier for people who are interested in the Oceans posters (the shows are on March 12th and 13th) to access not only the posters I've been making all semester, but to also have the opportunity to order and purchase posters they are interested in. On top of that, if I'm expecting a little more traffic to the site I figure it doesn't hurt to have some more content and an easier navigation bar.
